George Maiorano

George Maiorano’s journey in health, medicine, and technology is driven by a lifelong passion for athleticism, science, and innovation. From an early age, he excelled in competitive sports, including judo, wrestling, football, and soccer, ultimately discovering his dedication to fitness and wellness through bodybuilding. This foundation in discipline and performance shaped his understanding of the human body and the importance of optimizing health.
His career in medicine began in his uncle’s pharmacy, where he worked as a pharmacy technician. Though he initially pursued a different path—earning a degree in Computer Systems Engineering—his first role out of school brought him back to healthcare. At the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) in Philadelphia, PA, George played a key role in developing the electronic testing platform for the USMLE and FSMLE Step 1, 2, and 3 exams—critical assessments for medical licensure.
This experience ignited his passion for merging technology with medicine, leading him to develop specialized medical and pharmacy software. Realizing his true calling was in healthcare, George returned to academia, earning advanced credentials in Medicinal Biochemistry and Pharmacy. Today, he combines his expertise in pharmaceutical science, biochemistry, and medical technology as Owner, Chief Scientific Officer, and Pharmacy Director at American Wellness Pharmacy.
With a unique background bridging athletics, computer engineering, and pharmaceutical sciences, George is committed to advancing patient care through cutting-edge wellness strategies, precision medicine, and innovative pharmacy solutions. His mission is to empower patients with scientifically backed treatments that optimize health and longevity.
