Temperature-sensitive medications are shipped using delivery methods selected to help protect medication quality while in transit. Shipping costs vary based on the package size, weight, destination, and required delivery speed.
AWP FedEx Shipping Policy
All FedEx shipments require a signature at the time of delivery, with no exceptions. AWP will contact the patient before shipment to confirm the delivery address and recipient availability. If a package is damaged or lost while in transit, American Wellness Pharmacy will submit a claim to FedEx on the patient’s behalf. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and remains subject to FedEx claim eligibility and coverage policies.
Standard Shipping
Non-refrigerated medications may be shipped to eligible in-state and out-of-state destinations using standard ground delivery.

$8 shipping fee
A recipient signature is generally not required for non-controlled medications shipped through USPS.
$10 shipping fee
A recipient signature is required for controlled medications shipped through USPS.
Before Delivery

Signature Required
A signature is required for every FedEx shipment, local delivery, and controlled substance sent through USPS. No exceptions can be made.
Recipient Availability
Please make sure the patient or an authorized recipient is available at the delivery address to receive and sign for the package.
Returned Packages
Undeliverable or returned packages are non-refundable, including shipments returned because of missed delivery attempts or recipient unavailability.

Local delivery is available for qualifying orders within the Las Vegas and Henderson service areas.
Medication Integrity
Our team reviews the medication type, destination, temperature requirements, delivery schedule, and signature requirements before an order leaves the pharmacy.
Orders are packaged according to medication-specific storage and transportation requirements.
Refrigerated and frozen medications receive an appropriate expedited shipping method.
